Location. The modern Cape Grace Hotel is set on the bustling Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, in Cape Town, South Africa. Robben Island is 500 metres across the water. The Aquarium is 300 metres from the hotel, while majestic Table Mountain is two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Overlooking its own private quay, the Cape Grace Hotel has a traditional interior within its modern exterior. There is a 24-hour front desk. The library offers books, artwork and historic prints and complimentary port or sherry in the evening. The hotel has private gardens.

A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in One Waterfront restaurant. The traditional-style restaurant offers views of the Yacht Marina and dishes with a South African twist. Bascule Bar presents fine local wines and a choice of more than 400 whiskies from around the world. The bar also serves light meals and snacks. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

The Cape Grace Hotel has a business centre with secretarial and translation services and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Small groups can be accommodated in the hotel's meeting rooms.

The hotel has an outdoor pool with sun terraces. The onsite health spa, with views of Table Mountain, has a sauna and steam room and provides a range of beauty treatments (surcharge). There is also a beauty salon at the hotel.

Guestrooms. The hotel's 121 air- conditioned guestrooms all have French doors with views of the marina or Table Mountain. They are decorated with mahogany furniture, neutral fabrics and Persian rugs. From Cape Town International Airport (CPT):
Distance to Cape Grace Hotel is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis are available from the airport's authorised taxi company, Touch Down. Travellers are advised not to use unauthorised taxis. The fare to the city centre is approximately 200 ZAR. Door- to-door shuttle buses are available, and can be pre- booked at arrivals. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The Cape Grace Hotel is on West Quay Road, Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Trains and buses run throughout the city, but driving is the best way to get around. Many attractions are clearly signposted, however, parking can be difficult. Taxis are available but can be expensive. The Cape Grace Hotel offers guests a complimentary chauffeur service to locations within a 10-kilometre radius of the hotel, including Table Mountain. Complimentary car parking is available at the hotel.

Driving directions. From Cape Town International Airport:
Take the N2 motorway and follow signs for Stad/City N2/N3.
Then follow signs for N2/City/Foreshore/Seapoint.
Follow the road down to the harbour, then follow signs for M6.
Turn onto the waterfront and take the second exit on the roundabout onto West Quay Road, where the hotel is located.
