Location. The Cape Diamond Hotel, located in Cape Town, South Africa, is housed in a historic Art Deco building that dates back to the 1930s. The hotel is located within 300 meters of the Parliament of South Africa and 400 meters from Greenmarket Square and Company's Gardens. The Castle of Good Hope is 500 meters away. Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and Table Mountain are within five kilometers of the hotel.
Hotel Features. The hotel serves continental buffet breakfasts daily, while a modern fusion of traditional South African cuisine is prepared in Patat restaurant and bar. Specialties include bobotie, potjiekos and koeksisters. A rooftop terrace features a spa tub and views of the city below.

Guestrooms. Contemporary dark wood furnishings with ivory accents and ceiling fans decorate guestrooms, while double cotton Percale sheets cover beds. Rooms include private bathrooms. Select rooms feature balconies overlooking Table Mountain.

Expert Tip. Originally built to serve as the corporate headquarters of one of South Africa's biggest jewelry stores, the Diamond House building was converted into the Cape Diamond Hotel in 2005.
